This half-day session is for those who are keen to know more on the subject of evaluation and learning. The focus is on making evaluation proportionate, both to your resources and to the people you work with. It takes a practical, structured approach to helping you decide what to measure and why, and how to measure that as effectively and efficiently as possible; with a particular focus on using surveys.
This interactive and practical workshop, facilitated by Elliot Trevithick from NPC, will show you how effective measurement and evaluation can increase the impact of your organisation.

Unconscious Bias
This workshop has been designed to support participants to reflect on the unconscious biases that we all hold and the assumptions we sometimes make. It explores how these may impact upon our interactions and decision-making processes, and strategies for recognising and counteracting bias in the workplace.
This session will allow you to become aware of your own unconscious bias and some of the unconscious biases of others.
Managing Change and Dealing with Resistance
Organisations are constantly changing and adapting, never more so than during the Coronavirus pandemic. To change organisations, you need to change people; often including their behaviour, attitude and skills. As anyone who has tried a new exercise regime or diet knows, this is not easy. The term 'psychological contract' refers to individuals’ expectations, beliefs, ambitions, and obligations, as perceived by the employer and the worker. It is about the unwritten ‘deal’ between them. When there is a sense of fairness and trust it will go well, but the reverse is true. This session will introduce the idea of the psychological contact and illustrate it with examples as well as exploring the psychological contracts of the delegates with the aim of improving relationships.
